Roxy’s Lapierre XR 7.9

I chose the Lapierre XR because it is exactly the light, full-suspension XCO bike that I have been dreaming of since I started riding! I am a full-time coach and for both my own daily riding and coaching riders at all levels, I enjoy having a light, playful, yet powerful bike. This bike, in my eyes, is the perfect all-rounder!

The TR35s are absolutely perfect – they have turned this already light bike into a rocket! The wide rims allow me to run less tire pressure, which gives me maximum grip while keeping rolling resistance low. With this set-up I feel safe and stable even on the rockiest, gnarliest trails here at the Costa Blanca in Spain, allowing me to ride confidently with my friends even when they’re on heavy-duty enduro bikes. The DT240 EXP hubs are super light with plenty of points of engagement, which I find so essential for both trials skills and quick acceleration. These super-light rims make the bike even more agile and the gorgeous oil-slick-colored spokes are just dazzling! I couldn’t be more happy with these wheels!
