What Are Berd Spokes?
Berd spokes are made from Dyneema, an advanced polymer fiber. Or for the real geeks, “ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene” (UHMWPE). Dyneema has become known as a unicorn material, not only incredibly lightweight but also highly durable and resistant to fatigue. It can be found used in ultralight equipment across various aerospace, marine, military, and sports applications. Because of these specialized properties, Berd spokes are an excellent upgrade for riders seeking out the lightest and fastest wheels, without compromising durability and strength.
