Nic VANCAN’s Knolly Delirium on NOBL TR41s

Bike park season gets many riders frothing, and Nic Zilinski (of VANCAN MTB) is certainly high on that list.

Riding back at full health and full-tilt this year after some injury recovery, Nic was in need of a new, go-bike park bike for this season. The Knolly Delerium is just the tool for the job: it’s heavy and stable, not trying to be anything it’s not. Nic chose it because it has “Lots of suspension and very is slack! It’ll be spending a lot of time shuttling on the shore and on the lift at Whistler”.

The custom wheels we built this unit needed to hit all the same park-ready marks: mullet TR41 wheels with Onyx Classic hubs are the “glass slipper” that fit just right.

Wheelset

Every spec of this wheelset is purpose-suited for confidenlty tackling DH tracks and inevitable thrashing at the bike park.

Needing the bike to be easy to handle and maneuver- both in the air on jump lines and in steep, tight tech- Nic went for a mullet set of TR41 rims. The wide 35/34i width of these rims also give a super stable and planted tire profile, and their Sinewave shape and substantial layup absorbs hits.

Onyx Classics give instant engagement, with two rows of internal sprags, they are robust and reliable. We even set Nic up with a steel freehub vs. the standard alloy, for extra durability.
