Liam’s Specialized Kenevo SL 2

Meet Liam

Hey! I’m Liam, Warehouse Manager at NOBL Wheels. I was born and raised in the UK and, like many, was sucked in by the riding and lifestyle in the Sea-to-Sky corridor. After visiting Whistler for the first time in 2015, I decided to stay!

Why this bike?

I chose the 2025 Specialized Kenevo SL 2 Ohlins Edition (size large) because it gives me the motivation I need to get out for those late after-work rides, yet it’s not much heavier than a standard enduro bike.

I’ve already ridden more in two months than I typically would in half a year on my non-assist bike, and I’d call that a huge win!

TR41 Wheelset

I built myself this set of 29” TR41s laced to bronze Hope Pro 5 hubs with silver and black Sapim CX-Ray spokes.

I chose the CX-Rays for their incredible strength-to-weight ratio, the sweet look of the bladed spokes, and because they were Steve Peat’s world champion-winning spoke of choice. Call me influenced…

I made this custom set of graphics with a raw carbon-effect for the inset and Ohlin’s yellow for the outline and numbers, which complements the warm gold Peaty’s valves too.
