Whether you’re tackling the Tour Divide or long singletrack days on varied terrain, the TR36 Hydra 2 wheelset is for riders looking for a lightweight, durable and high-performance trail wheelset.

The Hydra 2 hub has a whopping 878 points of engagement, making for an ultra-responsive ride on any terrain. Durability is prioritized with i9s redesigned axle, hub flanges and pawl design, ensuring longevity even under aggressive use.

The TR36 rims are our versatile 30mm internal width rim with a lightweight layup. They’re available in any combination of 28h & 32h drilling and 27.5” & 29” diameters. All NOBL wheelsets come taped with valves and ready to go – simply throw your tires on with sealant, and you’re set!

    I9 Anodization Notice

    *Due to the nature of Industry Nine’s anodization process, we’re unable to guarantee colour match between hubs on single-wheel orders. If you’d like to ensure a new hub matches what one you currently own, please reach out to us via email and we’ll do our best to assist.

    As a note, i9 will not guarantee a colour match without both hubs in hand.

    *One-Piece Base Colour

    Full letter graphics encompass the entire lettered graphic including the "O" crown. The decal comes cut to size, making them easy to apply. All sets include decals for 1 wheelset + 1 extra for safe keeping.

    *Crown Graphics

    The "Crown" graphic refers to the "O" part of the word NOBL. Opting for just a crown graphic is a great way to add a subtle hint of colour and customization to your wheelset.

    Berd Retensioning Kit

    After a few months of use your Berd wheelset will need to be retensioned.
    Do you need a Berd tools kit?

    • Yes
    • No - I already have a kit, or know of someone who has these specialty tools and can retension the wheels.

    Refer to our Berd FAQ to learn more.

    • This combo will allow you to retension your Berd spokes without removing your tire.

    We use Sapim Secure Lock 7075 Alloy nipples. They are durable and corrosion resistant while saving quite a bit of rotating weight. Secure Lock ensures the wheel maintains tension without loosening or unwinding.

    Your wheels come stock with a black alloy NOBL branded valve with black plastic cap. You can now upgrade to a coloured or black anodized alloy bullet-style valve cap for a relatively small fee.
