Meet I9’s new Workhorse
A new era from Industry Nine
Unprecedented performance
at this price range
Enter the Industry Nine 101; a hub with the performance we’ve come to expect from an Industry Nine, but with a price tag that will leave you with money left over for all those bike trips you’ve been dreaming of.
90 POINTS OF ENGAGEMENT, AVAILABLE IN BOOST, 28H AND 32H, 6-BOLT OR CENTERLOCK
Reliable
Six pawls engage in a 2+2 configuration, and they have 2 notches each so you get 6 contact points
Made in USA
The 1/1 hubset is machined, anodized and assembled entirely here in Industry Nine’s Asheville, NC manufacturing facility
Easy to Service
You can fully service the hubs with standard bearing tools, no proprietary tools required.
Low Cost
Expanded CNC production capacity, a simpler hub shell design and increased manufacturing efficiencies lead to i9’s least expensive hubset ever!
Bringing high engagement to the masses
Industry Nine has established themselves as a premier manufacturer of high quality, reliable bicycle hubs. Their legendary Torch hub boasts quick engagement, reliable performance and simple serviceability. Industry Nine has brought this technology and performance to a lower price point with the release of their all new 1/1 hub, which carries much of the pedigree from the existing Torch hub.
Dual Phase
The 1/1 uses a dual phased pawl drive mechanism and a 45 tooth drive-ring to deliver 90 points of engagement (4°) at a price point far lower than other hubs with similar specifications.
Durable
Just because the 1/1 doesn’t break the bank, doesn’t mean that it should wear our quickly. The 1/1 is built with high-load sealed cartridge bearings, sturdy leaf-spring actuated pawls, and well-sealed end caps that don’t require any bearing preload adjustment.
Options
Just like Henry Ford’s first cars, you can get the 1/1 hub in any color you want, just as long as it’s black! The 1/1 will be initially available as a Boost only hubset in both 28 and 32h, ASO 6-bolt or Centerlock, and with HG, XD, and Micro Spline Freehub options.
