Getting to Know the Van Island BikePacKing Collective

In July, we joined NOBL ambassador Kelton Doraty and a lively bunch of riders at Ruckle Park on the idyllic Salt Spring Island to get a first-hand taste for the community he has created with the Vancouver Island Bikepacking Collective.

Founded in early 2022 and facilitated by Kelton, the VIBC attracts dozens of riders for every one of its campout events through prime bikepacking season here on Vancouver Island with a special something that keeps many coming back. It’s not just about the ride, but so much more.
