Nine Years Of NOBL
We’ve Come A Long Way
From humble beginnings in 2012, NOBL wheels started off as a side project for Trevor Howard. Blending a background in aircraft composites with his lifelong passion for cycling, he sought to introduce wider profile carbon rims to the mountain bike market.
2021 will be our 9th year of business and it’s incredible to look at how quickly the company has grown. From a one-person side gig in Trevor’s condominium in 2012, to a fully staffed operation with comprehensive customer service, marketing, and wheel building teams. This is all thanks to you and your support for our wheels.
Since 2012, our wheels have touched every corner of the globe and have been tested to their limits on World Cup and EWS courses, under the legs of some of the world’s finest athletes. We’ve used the feedback you’ve provided along with our internal testing processes to continually improve our rims. Not ones to rest on our laurels, we aim to always be innovating and sit on the bleeding edge of rim technology.
The Big Move
Late in 2020, we transferred our operations to a new warehouse in Courtenay, located on Vancouver Island. Along with scaling up our staff and production capacity, we’re more prepared than ever to expand our product offerings and continually improve the level of service and support we can offer our customers.
Our First Edit
In the video below, we look back at the first edit that NOBL released early in its inception. Here owner Trevor Howard puts some of our original prototypes through their paces on some of the legendary trails in the Fraser Valley.
