Office assistant

We’re looking for an administrative assistant that is extremely versatile and loves learning new things. We’re a small but mighty company that is growing fast and changes constantly.

Successful Applicants:

Will include a well-written cover letter and resume that shows how their past experience will be an asset to our business. We have team in Canada as well as in China, so clear communication is key. You must be legally able to work in Canada.

Location:

Shop hours are Monday-Friday 8-4:30 at our new shop in Chilliwack, BC (Close to Vedder Mountain)

Primary Responsibilities May Include:

– Take on projects that smooth out the operation. Streamline billing with vendors, customs paperwork issues, account setup
– Paying vendors
– Help to organize and schedule company events, book travel
– Keep the office clean and organized
– Assigning tickets in our customer service system
– Picking up packages or supplies
– Backup to the customer service team to field phone calls
– Answering basic chat inquiries
– Light social media help

Ideal Candidates:

– Are extremely detail oriented
– Consider themselves friendly and easy to get along with
– Excellent verbal communication
– Are knowledgeable about bikes
– Are highly organized and self motivated
– Have experience working in the cycling industry
– Are versatile and happy to help in other areas of the business as required

Job Type: 
Part-time with potential to lead to full time depending on skillset
