Trevor's Pivot Vault

Pivot Vault Carbon Bike Check

I wanted a lightweight and efficient gravel bike that I could get out and explore all day on. I liked that the seat tube was a large diameter so I could run a proper dropper post as an option in the future. The smaller diameter carbon post has a rubber sleeve around it which allows it to flex more and absorb vibrations which is nice on long rides. One cool thing I didn’t notice when reviewing the bike online was that most of the black parts on the frame are actually raw carbon, not paint. I really like the attention to detail in person. The stock build was exactly what I was looking for, so all I really had to do is experiment with different saddles, slap on some ancient Shimano SPD pedals, and build up some wheels.

HR35 Gravel

Trevor modified his HR35’s with some custom decals, so they’re hard to miss. There is no doubt that Trevor won’t be doing some serious off roading on these rims, so it is great that they prioritize traction on loose chunky terrain.

DT Swiss 240 EXP

Trevor chose the DT240 EXP because of how they’re light, precise, and easily serviceable.

Rider Approved.
